FRANCE TELECOM's Research & Development
center has created the eConf technology, based on an internationaly
recognised expertise in the field of video-telephony and audio and
video compression.
FT R&D has implemented many audio / vidéo codecs that
are already available on the market, and possesses over 30 patents
on the standards G723.1, MPEG2 and MPEG4.
eConf implements patented technologies and forms a totally
customizable software solution thanks to its relavant SDK (Software Development Kit)
components.
Today, eConf is widely implemented in the context of important
reserch programs such as eConf on PDA,
the Telepresence Wall, the Interactive Terminal...
eConf on PC is already available!
