eConf won't set up correctly

With Windows NT, 2000, or XP, we advise you to set up eConf in administrator mode to avoid any problems.
With Windows 98, 98SE and Me, the administrator mode notion doesn't exist, so you can set-up eConf from any user account by using OS.

eConf won't launch itself correctly, application blockage

This can happen if you use a MIDI audio mixer such as "Yamaha Soft Synthesizer S-YXG50" that is already pre-installed on your machine.This type of audio application disturbs eConf's operating , so we advise you to uninstall this program, normally, (''add/delete programs tab'' of Window's configuration panel) and re-start eConf.

Wrong shortcut of the 'WebeConf' module in the 'Start' menu

To use this module, you can launch it from Windows explorer (by default in the subfolder 'c:\Program Files\FranceTelecom\bin'), or you can modify the shorcut's properties by adding the subfolder 'c:\Program Files\FranceTelecom\bin' in the 'Start in:' box of the 'Shortcut' tab.
