Configuration with an ADSL connection

You can use eConf with a Netissimo 1 or Netissimo 2 ADSL connection. To do so, we advise you to follow the following instructions.

Network configuration

If you use a USB modem for your ADSL connection, no particular IP configuration is required to use eConf.
On the other hand, if you use an ethernet modem, you could have problems making a call with eConf. In that case, display your network configuration by entering the command "ipconfig" on one of your PC's consoles, and check the following points:

• 2 network cards appear in the list
• One of the two at the IP address "10.0.0.10". If it is not so, put this Ip address in the windows configuration panel -> Network -> TCP/IP protocol -> Properties
  

Recommandations for Netissimo 1

• Configure eConf at 128 kbits/s in the network tab of econf's configuration panel
• Send your video in small format ( untick the option "issue video in large format" in the calling tab of econf's configuration panel)

Recommandations for Netissimo 2

• Configure eConf at 256 kbits/s in the network tab of econf's configuration panel
• Send your video in small or large format ( option ''issue video in large format'' in the calling tab of econf's configuration panel)
